One unique feature of the Buy Local project is to link local businesses with each other. This B2B (business to business) effort will identify local business requirements and what is actually available here to meet those needs. Here’s how it will work. The BUY LOCAL committee will obtain a list of each business top 5-10 non-labor purchases in goods and services. Then they will match everyone’s needs and let you know where you can buy those services locally. This information will then be available on-line at www.buylocalmarshfield.com with contacts and phone numbers listed.
Secondly, when new businesses are considering the Marshfield area, we will ask the same questions to understand early on what they will require in goods and services to assure a match with those available locally.
